Four members of a robber gang were held with gold ornaments and money in connection with a robbery in Darus Salam Thana area of the capital.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Mirpur Zonal Team of Detective conducted the special operation and arrested them from Sadarghat and Meradia areas of Dhaka on Wednesday.

The arrestees are identified as Md Sohail Ahmed Pallab, 48, Md Polash Sheikh, 34, Md Masud Rana, 46 and Robin Halder Paresh, 50.

Approximately 20 bhori of gold ornaments and TK 500,000 were recovered from their possession druring the drive.
